Gothic his-and-hers throne

The folks that asked me to build the Gothic style entry door also asked for a suite of chairs. I made five singles, and one double as shown here, all based on some museum pieces dating from the 16th century. Solid American walnut; mortise and tenon joinery; hand carved panels and details.
